Your packing list...

Knowing what to pack when traveling to a new destination can be daunting so we’ve put together a list of items we’ve found the most useful. This is a starting point – a general list of good ideas when visiting this part of Africa – and we’ll send a few suggestions specific to your trip well before you depart.

We suggest you choose a soft-sided yet rugged duffle bag or rucksack as your luggage and that you pack lightly. Though some things can be bought locally it’s not always possible to find what you want, so if you have a preference for a particular sunscreen or an ultimate waterproof jacket, make sure to bring it with you!
