Trek through primeval forests in search of chimpanzees, golden and colobus monkeys and some of the world’s only mountain gorillas. Stay in sumptuous lodges and taste the superb hospitality of Rwanda.

Over the course of several days you’ll see some of the most beautiful and remote parts of Rwanda.

After exploring the capital, you’ll head deep into the country to track apes and monkeys in the carefully preserved pockets of ancient land that make up Rwanda’s National Parks. Along the way you’ll see exceptional birdlife and an abundance of flora, meet the custodians of this unique heritage and enjoy a fascinating journey through the Land of a Thousand Hills.

Welcome to Rwanda! You’ll be met at the airport for the short drive to your hotel. Tonight is a welcome dinner at one of Kigali's best restaurants.
Kigali & Nyungwe
Tour the capital’s highlights, street art and visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial. Journey into the agricultural heartland of Rwanda, passing tea and coffee estates, arriving in Nyungwe National Park in the afternoon.
Nyungwe Waterfall
Plunge deep into the rainforest to hike to 'isumo' ('waterfall' in Kinyarwanda), and see hundreds of species of plants, orchids, and birds. After lunch, tour the tea plantation owned by the local Gisakura community - the smell of fresh tea leaves is heavenly.
